[ the wild hunt left the school tired, scarred, and honestly morale looked like utter garbage. leo received a message checking up on him, and he realized then and there that people cared for him. and he should show that too. someone specific comes to mind immediately, and leo seeks out the pleasant little boy with whom he shared breakfast in a dream. he wasn't human either, so who knows what he's been through. he feels guilty he let sleep overtake him before seeing vivi, but better late than never.

he's really anxious. the kid was so small. and in the end as leo wanders, vivi spots leo first. ]

[ He still has a headache after last night's events, though it's going away at last. Sleep had helped a little, too.

He sees Leo, and perks up immediately. His cheer is still a little dented from the night before, but that's not going to stop him. ]

Leo! [ He waves, enthusiastically bouncing over (as best he can, anyway, it's more like a little jog). ] Are you okay?

[ oh thank god he doesn't sound the absolute worst for wear. leo crouches down and gives him a big old hug. ]

You're okay! I'm really glad. That's a relief...

[ He wraps his arms around Leo, as much as he can. If he's a little shaky, well, that's just to be expected. ]

My head still kinda hurts...but I'm okay. [ Still, he can't get the image of Sherlock out of his head, tattered and bloody. ] I'm better than a lot of people were, anyway...

Are you okay? You didn't get hurt, right?

[ leo backs slightly from the hug, but not letting go, he shakes his head at vivi. ]

Hey Vivi, we're not having some kinda tournament here on who's had it worse, okay? But I'm glad you're mostly fine.

[ nothing he can't walk off. ] Yup, I'm good! I went out and messed up some of their days! [ ... it really wasn't that cool, leo's not sure why he bothered embellishing that. ]

Really?! That's really brave! [ Too late, Leo, Vivi thinks you're SUPER cool actually. He'd be sparkling if he wasn't so worried. As it is, he's just wide-eyed. ]

I'm glad you're not hurt too much...it must have been really tough...!

[ vivi please!! such grievous sins such as pretending to be cooler than you are should not be rewarded. he rubs the back of his head. ]

Haha, yeah? [ he's... really not that brave!! but who is leo to deny such a pitch in the other's little voice. ] It could've gone better but... Don't worry about me, I've got training!

How about you? I... [ lip bite. ] Were you scared?

...I dunno. [ His voice is thoughtful, even though it's a bit weaker than usual. ] I think I was? But it was like...

I dunno. Feelings are like..volumes, I guess. Sounds? And I was scared...but I was mostly really angry. Like being angry..wanting to destroy stuff...it was really loud.

So I guess I was. But I wasn't scared of anything going on that much, until after...just me.

Vivi, it's Desi. Gunvolt's awake. He knows who hurt him, and they took Monarch with them. He's going to try to find out where they went and then we're going to come up with a plan to go and get her back. Do you want in?

Lia will be coming too, so it looks like it'll be the four of us again. [And it's been the four of them working together for a couple months now, so they really are a team at this point (as opposed to just happening to wind up on the same missions), aren't they?]

[Around noonish, during his lunch break and after he's had a lucky hunt, it occurs to him someone's not been out and about as much. Understandable, but concerning. So...

He's tapping on Vivi's window with his beak, mental 'voice' passing right through the glass without a problem. It's not sound, of course.] < ...Vivi? >

[ A lump moves slightly under the covers. Eventually, it results in Vivi peeking his head out towards the window, but not doing much else.

Still not doing great, it seems. ]

[It's too much for some kid half his own age to deal with. God.]

[ The lump wriggles, and then he emerges a little more.

His voice is just audible enough to be heard, even through the window. ]

[Luckily he has good ears, somewhere under the feathers. He has the window open a moment later, and closed again once he's through. And then he lands on the bed, careful not to claw up the sheets.]
